Hi, I'm Michael
I run DAC and I build every automation that goes out the door. No account manager, no handoff to a junior team: the person who scopes your process writes the code, and takes your call when it needs to change.
I spent six years in robotic process automation and AI, in both engineering and leadership roles, including engineering leadership on a payments platform handling more than 60% of U.S. health insurance claims — an environment where a broken process moves real money.
I came to engineering sideways, by way of distribution operations, an operations management degree from Ohio State and a Six Sigma green belt. That order matters: automating a bad process just makes it fail faster. What I kept seeing was teams losing their best hours to repetitive work, and losing quality along with them, because focus drifts on the fifth run of the same task.
